The Isabelle Eberhardt Room

As you enter, two superb paintings of dromedaries in the desert set the tone for this room, hidden in the middle of the garden near the swimming-pool. Isabelle Eberhardt fell in love with the desert and the nomads.

The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Room

A harmony of colours, blending aubergine, white and ochre. This room, with two beds and mats from Salé running along the walls and some ancient rugs, takes you into an oriental world. A poster of Tarfaya evokes the aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his famous first novel, Courrier Sud.

The Karen Blixen Room

A most elegant room with four-poster bed decorated with coloured arabesques, enjoying a superb view over the garden and the swimming pool. Richly bound books recall how much the author, from an aristocratic Danish family and a leading light of 20s Kenya, loved Africa and its people.

The Titouan Lamazou Room

All the decor of this room evokes the 70s; the rocking-chair, tulip lamp, rack shelving and film posters. In the library are the travel diaries of Titouan Lamazou, recalling his love of Morocco, his country of birth and the East.

The Pierre Loti Suite

This suite, which spreads along an immense sunny terrace, boasts harmonious lime greens and yellows, playing subtly on the links between the outside and inside. The pictures and old posters evoke traditional Morocco, which Pierre Loti discovered in the medina of Fez.

The Roger Frison-Roche Suite

A beautiful suite, giving onto a terrace overlooking the garden, with a 19th century sculpted ceiling and a relaxed decor which shows bold prints, flowers and “bayadère” stripes. This spacious suite with a luminous blue would have pleased Frison-Roche, a great adventurer and poet, lover of the open spaces.
